    Pop-up tree

Posted by Sandy Long on Dec 27th 2018

Was very impressed at how well the tree held up after many, many openings and closings. I thought the way the tree attaches to base would possibly fail after a while, but, it holds up great! So versatile, easy to assemble, and adorable. Easy to put a gift card inside.

    Fun Christmas card

Posted by Arlene Cronin on Dec 22nd 2018

I bought this die and have made a bunch of cards with it. After following the video exactly the first card, I found it easier to put the rug on before I assemble the tree. Also I mounted the inside card to a full piece of cardstock on the outside. To get it to lay flat, I just scored the middle several times and worked the fold fosrward and backward several times . This made the fold line thinner and it laid flat.

Has an incrediblel WOW factor and easy to make!

Posted by Angie in NM on Jan 4th 2018

Yes, the FIRST one seems complicated but it is really easy once you get the hang of it. I found it was best to cut out a bunch of tree parts, drop circles of glitter glue on the tree fronts, remember you only need it on the TOP of the large trees. Let it dry overnight and then assemble trees. Of course, at some point, put glitter glue on the BACK side of the top of the large trees. I did the first dozen like Karen did with the rug in two pieces so that the card fold would only have one layer and lay flat. I later decided I liked it better to do the inside "rug" area in one piece and have the front and back of the card separate pieces to glue to the back side of the "rug". Karen's old fleur de lis Paris Edge or the Agatha Edge makes a wonderful rug! I'm going to be making birthday cards with birds and make winter and spring/summer versions of this card. Everyone LOVES it.

I think this is a fantastic way to make a great card for someone. Not expensive card once the die is purchased. And useful for all ages and various times of the year.

    Love it

Takes a little time to put together but well worth the effort. After putting the first one together you kind of get the hang of it. I used stickles to decorate the tree before I put them together. That made it a little easier than sticking things to the tree after it was together. Love all of Karen's dies.

    Oh Christmas tree

Posted by Judy Felgar on Oct 20th 2017

Love it! I’ve begun experimenting with the elements of this card, and find it to be a little difficult. I need to explore what types of papers are needed, and hope I have the right colors. I looked for a helpful video on line but could not find one but have no fear, I will make this beautiful card. Thanks Karen!

    Christmas Tree Pop-Up

It was easy to put together, the hard part was connecting the tree to the base...this tree pop-up will be the star of my Christmas cards this year.
